10 Easter Basket Container Ideas for Kids That Are Not Traditional Baskets

It’s almost Easter! I love finding things that serve more than one purpose. So for my kids’ Easter baskets, I like finding something that they can use over and over again, whether that be a toy of some kind or a container for storing toys in their room. I rounded up some unconventional, yet functional …

Welcome!

Hi, I’m Tori! I’m a CPA by day and an avid DIY’er by night. I love the challenge of finding inspiration in room design or furniture pieces and figuring out how to create it myself for less. I believe you can create a home that is cozy, inviting, and reflective of YOU – and you don’t have to have a big budget to do it. From small organization projects to larger scale furniture builds, I love to create and I hope I can inspire you to do the same in your home! Sometimes the simplest update can have a huge impact on a space. Let’s transform our homes together and create a place we love to be!

February round up! We really started rolling on so February round up! We really started rolling on some house projects last month. But we’ve never had so many going on simultaneously 😵‍💫 Technically, the master bath renovation wrapped up (at least as far as the contractors are concerned). We still need to wrap up the final details ourselves. I started an impromptu nursery makeover (final photos coming soon)🐰 while Brad worked hard to turn the master bedroom back to a blank slate - removing wallpaper, priming walls, painting trim, painting the ceiling and ripping out the old carpet. I’m excited to get some of these spaces fully completed in March! Also sharing some snaps of everyday life — I love this season of life when they are all little, chaos and all 🥰
A very satisfying before and after ✨ A small home A very satisfying before and after ✨A small home with kids means you need a functional entryway because it will become a drop zone! A peg rail for backpacks and coats and baskets for shoes help to keep the clutter off the floor. The lidded basket also holds beach towels in the summer and hats and mittens in the winter 🤍 Comment LINK for everything I used!Kitchen entryway; 1940s old home; cape cod; DIY; home improvementhttps://liketk.it/5VjaW
The first thing you see when you walk into this ho The first thing you see when you walk into this home is now a fresh and inviting space 💚 Beadboard, paint, and peel and stick tile really transformed this kitchen entryway! All are very DIY, budget-friendly updates too. The peg rail adds extra functionality, which is so important in a small home. Color is BM October Mist!
